Hispanic Heritage Fiesta 2020 is proud to announce Javier Mendoza (Hobo Cane) as the headline performer for our Heritage Fiesta in St.Louis, Missouri.
Born in Virginia, raised in Spain and Germany, and a long time resident of St.Louis, Missouri, Javier continues to create and perform his amazing music from Nashville, Tennessee.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Mendozas began his musical evolution from being a songwriter for Warner Chappell in 1996 to a full time singer, songwriter, and performer.
Javier has received many honors and accolades throughout his career. His music has been featured on broadcast television and is well known throughout the Midwest venues where he perfoms on a regular basis.
The singer-composer has worked with some of the music industries biggest names like Willie Nelson, Los Lobos, The Roots, Idina Menzel, Duran Duran and many more.
He has been a relentless producer, with over 18 albums in as many years, each a study in his trajectory and life span.
Spanish American recording artist, Javier Mendoza (Hobo Cane) is a well known musician in the St.Louis music scene. He has authored 8 albums of his fusion Spanish and American Rock
This year, many of the traditional venue and events that celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 health crisis.
To continue to support our community of Latinx artists in St.Louis, Diario Digital STL, local Spanish language news in collaboration with Hispanic Festival Inc. has put together a program of virtual celebration to be held next September 14th, 2020.
